Showcase of Images

Welcome friends to my quiet place.
My woodlands where
the trees are fully bloomed in vibrant greens and
the earth now adorned with wild ferns!

 Color is beginning to appear!
When flowers bloom bright the heart feels light!

I allowed my 2 girls outdoors..
(of course I kept a watchful eye on both!)
Babie with the spirit of playful innocence keeps her
eyes on a toad with a sense of wonder while
Paisley perched on the arm of a chair
poses for the camera.
::
Tomorrow Babie and I travel to the city  2 1/2 hrs. away
where she will be admitted to a Vet hospital for several days
to have remaining Bladder stones removed.
I'm hopeful the procedure be a success with no complications.
With fingers crossed I pray.

By Request

"In any given moment of not feeling well, choose thoughts
of healing and feeling good!"
Dr. Wayne Dyer

distraction from worries and stresses
is the best way of feeling good and for me what
better way than gardening!
Getting down on my knees digging, pulling and weeding
gets more difficult as osteo arthritis sets in so I call upon
the master gardener Natureboy!
My job is the planning, the designing, the dreaming and
choosing of plants while he the master does the grunt work

"Gardening, reading about gardening, and writing about
gardening are all one; no one can garden alone."
Elizabeth Lawrence
::
My friend Lisa requested that I post photos of my
woodland garden.
This one's for you TWT!
Top: left to right ...sculptured ball with a pattern of Oak leaves
my latest find!
Vignette of planters with black and chartreuse petunias.
Centre: Here I dug out poison ivy last summer and got a horrendous
reaction. Plans for a hosta garden..more pics later in the season.
A perennial shade garden just planted under a canopy of oak trees.
Bottom:Wild ferns, flowering perennials, a pathway of wood chips and
logs to prevent stepping on poison ivy. We have several of these
pathways throughout the garden...all leading somewhere.
I hope you enjoyed this sneek peek of  my  our woodland garden.
More to show you as the garden matures during the weeks ahead!
Happy gardening!
hugs

Cattitude

"She clawed her way into my heart and
wouldn't let go"

Miss Babie
As pet owners we have a remarkable bond with
our fur babies. They speak to our souls, calm us, bring
a smile to our faces and to me
my felines are private healers.
They are a dependable reservoir of comfort and love.
~
I shared Miss Paisley's present health issue in my last post
and Bless you friends for leaving kind comments.
You know the saying .."when it rains it pours"..
it's pouring buckets here!!

Babie the youngest of my 2 felines is also experiencing a major
health issue. With extensive testing and Xrays it has been
determined that she has Bladder stones. With an invasive
procedure she's had 10 stones removed and more yet to come out.
She will have to travel 2 hrs to a Vet hospital with proper
medical equipment to remove all remaining stones!
Her whiskers are still trembling from her first ordeal!!
Poor Babie deserves to have Cattitude!!
I have been stressed out for weeks with worry
because my felines occupy a special place in my heart.
I'm sure all my followers with pets would agree.

Cat Napping

Miss Paisley
"I love cats because I enjoy my home
and little by little they become its visible soul"
::
A calm before the storm brewing for sweet Paisley.
There are few things more concerning than having
a cat that is presenting chronic bouts of
vomiting and diarrhea.
There is suspicion that she may have
 Inflammatory Bowel Disease or worse.
Arrangements are being finalized for further testing.
I am trying to stay calm..
 I'm worried.

The Joy of Spring

"There is a season for beginnings when
the world is fresh and new!"

 candytuft
pure innocence fresh and new!

 "Magic is believing in yourself..
if you can do that,
you can make anything happen!"
J.Wolfgang

"Whatever it is that brings you JoY..
pursue it, do it, feel it, and call it
HaPPiNeSS!

Undeniably my Spring garden gives me
JoY in its simplest form!
Bursting with new life white flowers!
Candytuft and Narcissus dance in May breezes!
Tulips Angelique with a jolt of
inspired energy..
shows off her blushing pink face!
sigh..
I'd say pure JoY from Mother Nature
~
Wishing all Mother's
a wonderful Mother's Day week!
