I was particularly struck by the bench picture and canoe. The bench looks like an optical illusion. Was there two benches there? One of the benches has a ghostly appearance, like it is trying to be part of the earthly world or provide comfort or companionship to the other one. Very intriguing. Love the vivid red of the canoe against the steely grey and white of winter. Gives you the feeling that life just stopped and was hushed by the snow. Living in SE Missouri for this month and next has put me smack in the middle of sleet, snow, and icicles. I am loving the beauty of this season, so unlike my winter in California. I've also come to understand that living in a cold winter requires attention to forecasts and forward planning. It is not so easy to go to the store when you run out of milk. Rain? No big deal. Snow and sleet. Not a good idea. But oh what beauty it brings.Annie Jeffrieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15415548089882625246noreply@blogger.com
