"Let us permit nature to take her own way..
she better understand her own affairs than we"
Michel de Montaigne
Mother Nature has been sprinkling raindrops through out
our woodlands.
Beneath the trees and ferns little umbrellas sprout up!
With my camera I explore the hidden world
of the fairies!

Artsy! Great quote with the photos.
Fungi are so interesting! Your last photo is wonderful.
How simple is the step into fairyland and how wonderful for those who know the way.
They look like fairy umbrellas.
Lovely photos--and blog

Anna your photography skills just keep getting sharper and sharper as does your eye for beauty and magic. As always, gorgeous photos. Big hugs, TWT
Hi Anna,
How sweet.....sometimes I wish I was a fairy :)
I love fungi, and lichen. Both hold such mysteries.
Tku for leaving a comment on my blog. With regard to lupins, for me this was very much an experiment.
They do like the sun. I thought I would try them in dappled shade and see what happens, it seems to have worked. I do not think it would in dense shade.
Gardening in the woodlands is exciting...
I too love the fungi and mosses.
Wildflowers hold a special place in my heart. Lovely to see your magical woods.

I've always been fascinated by all the different forms of fungi in our area. I sure wish I knew if the mushrooms growing in my asparagus bed were edible or not because they are multiplying daily. I just don't trust looking online or at a book - too many too close alike.
