Crescendo

 Argentine Giant Cactus
flower is the size of a salad plate

 Cactus flowers waiting to exhale
located in my son's front garden!

A profusion of
enormous
showy white flowers unfold!
The desert is alive with cactus flowers
a sure sign of Spring!
~
Our 3 month winter hiatus in Arizona has come to an end.
We leave for home on Sunday travelling by car
through 7 states.

That is the strangest looking flower that I've ever seen! How interesting looking it is. Does it have a scent? It's hard to tell from the photo how tall it is, but it looks huge! Hope you have a safe trip home!

I wish you a safe journey and a happy homecoming. The flowers of the desert are lovely but if the air does not agree with you, they are but a sinecure.

I do hope you feel better when you are on your way and can enjoy the ride home.

Lots of love . . . Arija

stunning!

Be careful...and also enjoy your drive home. Hope you get to enjoy those 7 states instead of blasting through. Keep an eye on the sky since it's tornado season!
