Creativity

Comments left on my last post warmed my heart dear friends and what
better way to put back my smile than to spend time
with my granddaughter.

My first visit to your blog. What a beautiful header! So very sorry to hear about your dog. I have dogs and have lost several over the last few years. They are such beloved members of our families; it truly leaves a hole in our hearts when we lose one. Thinking of you...

I can see you're a rather a creative person, given the paints in your collage. I would like to learn how to paint, something other that a wall!
Thank you for popping by my blog and leaving a lovely comment.

Looks like you've got a good start to a fun journal! Thanks so much for your encouraging words about my journals, I'm so glad you like them and found them inspiring! I used to be a word only journaler, but I would lose interest because, honestly, I just live such a boring life:) When I started incorporating little drawings and cut outs, and journaled short little bits, I started enjoying it so much more! It let me use two of my favorite past times in one medium! Also, I'm not very gifted in my writing style. When I quit trying to write like I was Wordsworth, and just started doing little bits here and there about whatever I wanted, wow, it became so much fun. The weather, dinner, groceries, the garden, church, dirty floors :), anything and everything found it's way into my journal. And even though it's seemingly boring, we all enjoy going back a reading them! I've NEVER reread anything that I tried to be "creative in my writing" again!! Too boring (and badly written, ha!).

Hope you are feeling some comfort from the loss of your pet. I visited our little dogs burial site for years and years. Our pets are such a part of our families.
