Last Walk with Winter

An unusual warm break in temperatures allows for an
early morning walk along the Marina.
My last walk with Winter the silent season.
Barren branches on leafless trees..
a sparse scatter of snow along the banks...
pink sky reflected on still water.
This moment of color on an otherwise grey winter day
with eyes wide open I smile and I appreciate ..
~ Today in all its beauty ! ~
In a few days we'll be travelling to Arizona but I try to live in the moment.

Looks like a pretty quiet place. Do people all pull their boats out of the water? - Margy

Margy:
During winter months the Marina is free of boats as owners have them safely tucked away protected during winter storms. In summer the view is very different.

Such a gorgeous scene! Love the pale pink sky reflection. I almost looks like a Thomas Kinkade painting with the street lamps still on. Enjoy Arizona!

It is lovely in words and picture! Perhaps all the more so since you'll be leaving it all behind very soon. It seems tinged with nostalgia already!
Have an awesome time in Arizona! I recently came back from 4 days in the Phoenix area.

Anna, this is very lovely. I am sure you find it serene. I love the soft pink blush in the sky.

Your neck of the woods is lovely. Sometimes people say (when I post a beautiful winter pic) "Why do you want warm?" Alas -- it's a double edged sword -- beauty for comfort!
