Final Countdown

The temperature has dropped, there is a nip
in the air.
Cold winds blow, the bird stands brooding
in the snow.
We are on our final countdown
for our annual road trip to
sunny Arizona!
Many of you who regularly follow my blog are aware that
Natureboy and I  with our cats escape to the warmth of
Scottsdale Arizona once the snow arrives.
Our journey begins at the end of the week!
Keep in touch as I'll be posting!

I so like your adventurous lifestyle, just pack up the kitties and off you go. I look forward to your Arizona posts as one of my favourite birder bloggers has moved back to the New England states and I really miss all the wonders of the desert country.

Travel safe and remember to enjoy the journey!

Have a wonderful, trip, Anna. I will be thinking of you and Nature boy and wish you a safe journey.

Ha! You have more snow than we do! But then it's been a very unusual winter here in Montreal, so far.
Sending hugs

Have a wonderful time with your family in Arizona my friend!
Oh I would have nothing against snow, everything is better than all this rain we have here for 6 weeks now. There already is a lake in my garden border and the dreaded storms argh
Wish I could escape it too!
Wishing you and Glenn a wonderful & healthy new year my dear Anna!
Have a safe trip!
xoxo~ Carola

It was 80 the other day in Phoenix and been in the mid 60s here. Much better than all that white stuff. Safe journey and keep the rubber down.

How nice to be able to escape the cold and go somewhere warm. I don't really like the cold, either, and am glad we don't usually get snow. I hope you have a wonderful and safe time.

I was wondering when or if you were going this year.

My daughter just left for the airport to return to Toronto. I told her I might visit this Summer.

Hope you have a save trip with the Purr Balls.

Who knows, maybe I need to relax in the sun.

A belated Happy New Year, Anna! I know you must be excited to leave for sunny Arizona soon. I went to see my daughter and son-in-law in November and managed to hit one of the coolest weeks of their fall. Still, it was beautiful. Sadly, I don't know when I'll get to Arizona again. Daughter received a promotion in December and is moving very soon to Houston. I'm so happy for her, but will miss those frequent trips to AZ. Enjoy your stay!
