Whine less breathe more
Talk less say more

Breath of Spring

The Cherry Blossom
is a sign that Spring has come!
Outdoors the tiny buds on trees still tremble in
the early Spring wind.
Soon to blossom..
petal by petal each flower will come to life!
Freshly cut cherry tree branches brought indoors
and forced into blossom lighten up a room
and kick start
an early breath of Spring!

Shadows

" Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you"
Maori Proverb
With warm rays of sunshine..
I'm enjoying the taste of Spring!
I wander about losing myself in the garden through
observation. The garden is slowly showing signs of life..
small bits of green here and there..
Nature will never allow herself to be rushed.
*You can view more images of "my garden space" by
clicking on labels at the end of this post.

Seeing the garden at different times of the day..
moments of sunlight creates shadows on the fence filling in
the empty space and giving the garden
a different kind of life!
Humm..should I get out a paintbrush and fill in the shadow designs

P.S. The wrist tendonitis is much better just needed to rest and ice..
thank you dear friends for all your suggestions and concern!

Enlarge and check out the closed eyes..

(OK now I'm off the PC resting that wrist of mine)

Mother Nature

" Proclaim the season of new life
is with us once again! "
Kathleen Gillum
~
With temperatures in the double digits and sun
shining brightly it surely is Spring!
The garden is bursting with new life, birds are nesting,
Robins singing, tulips peeping through the soft earth..
all Mother Nature's tonics..
Life can't get better than this!
~
*Dear friends I am limiting my time at the computer because of
a case of wrist tendonitis
be patient with me in both posting and visiting your
individual blogs.

Green Mosaic

Spring forward
into a season of life growth and renewal!
With droplets of rain, grass turning green and discovering
buds on a tree!
I'd say it's easy to love Green!

Spring Thaw

The garden is in transition from winter's last gasp.
The ice melts..
moving me forward into Spring..
early ground cover and bulbs will soon awaken!
Indoors I admire the delicate flowers
and breathe in the sweet scent of
the hyacinth!
Forcing bulbs indoors is one of the simplest and
most rewarding ways to bring
Spring into your house!

Spring Ahead

I look around the bare bones of my quiet and barren garden
I search for Spring..
hoping to find a little color and all I see is winter's thaw
Inspired by my frequent visits to my local garden store
I've decided that
SPRING begins here!
Seeing the vast selection of bright blooms, pots, garden items and
colorful displays is the surest way
to break free of winter!
go ahead enlarge this image I guarantee it will cheer you!

Snow Bird

Many migrate to the south to escape the winter freeze

This snow bird with all it's challenges
is a reminder that one must accept the forces of nature
in order to survive.
