Snow White

"Every season brings us magic wonder in the light and shade
Nature gives us endless bounty..
memories that cannot fade."
Iris Hesselden
Pristine winter white blossoms
recaptured again by the magic of my camera lens!
Winter snow has come late to my world..
*see in my previous post.
I look out at the garden knowing what waits beneath
this blanket of snow.
Soon I'll be rewarded with a
glorious show of endless wonder and delightful
snow white blooms!

A Winter Blast

My garden lies quiet and still ..

Mother Nature silently left a blast of winter
with heaps of snow everywhere.

If there was a stirring of Spring just ahead ..
it is now hushed into silence.

I gaze at my pond beneath the storm's blanket of white
with thoughts of a Spring that feels mighty far away.

Petals

The beauty and charm of the Gerbera Daisy dressed in
pink to me the visible metaphor of Joy!
Petal by petal each flower comes to life..
an endless source of inspiration!
light. a new day. the dawn of a new life. miracles.
Take an intimate look ..
every expression can be found in the face of a flower.

Sunshine

"Accept each day, each moment as it comes..
the different seasons.. and soon it will be Spring!"
Jean Vanier
A bit of sunshine on this cold dreary Winter day!
The cheerfulness of Springtime blooms
the spectacle of renewal
reminding me that Spring will come!
Although it seems that Winter will never end think
about those determined buds beneath the bare earth
in our gardens
slowly pushing upwards!
May you have a bright and cheerful week dear friends

Celebration Time

"One of man's last freedoms is to choose one's attitude
in a given situation."
Dr. Viktor Frankl

I made a decision to do all I could to triumph over my
cancer diagnosis. I kept my thoughts on
HOPE and HEALING.
I looked at each day as a blessing and a gift in spite
of my circumstance.
I always imagined myself as a victor.

Cancer survival is a matter of involving both
head and heart. One must have an excited optimism about
treatment. Keeping HOPE alive is vital.
During my darkest and most fearful hours I focused on
being thankful for all my blessings.
For life, for my husband's love, for family, for friends,
for my 2 purr-fect cats, for the beauty of nature,
for my spiritual faith;
for all these and more I am thankful!

I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude
for the outpouring of love and generosity from a
global blog community I am blessed to be a part of.
When facing a major health crisis connecting with people
is an invaluable lifeline.
In reading the multitude of messages of prayer, well wishes,
and encouragement I felt enormously cared for and supported.
Your generous hearts cheered me immensely and helped
in carrying me through many long months of my healing journey.

I rejoice in telling you that
I am whole. I am healthy. I am healed!
I am in SOLID REMISSION!
I have NO cancer!
My blood levels are normal.. NO Lymphoma in my cells!
Hallelujah is the song in my heart
I thank GOD for reminding me that all things are possible
if I dare to believe!
Once again I stand on SOLID GROUND!
I deeply Thank You each one of you dear friends

for sharing with me the warmth of your caring hearts.
love and light

Song in my Heart

The birds they sing at break of day.
"Start again.." I hear them say.
Leonard Cohen
