As these flowers speak to my heart so has your offer of friendship
comfort and support in the messages that you leave for me.
Your caring comments emails and heartfelt words have indeed
contributed greatly in keeping my spirits up during my healing.

I was NOT able to receive chemo therapy this week.
By their very nature chemo drugs do some damage to
all growing cells including the growing cells in the bone marrow
which are responsible for making various components of blood.
My blood levels were too low putting me at great risk
for infection so the treatment has been cancelled.
I will NOT continue receiving chemotherapy.. my oncologist
feels we must *turn directions in my healing journey.
Time to *remove my spleen. I'm waiting for an appt.
with a surgeon with hopes that this can be done *laparoscopiclly
which is less invasive to the patient and less recovery time.

I continue choosing to live life to the fullest
affirming that each day is a good and perfect gift
in spite of the circumstances of my cancer treatment.
I have been proactive with what I can do to create emotions
that will nurture inner harmony, peace and healing!
The wind has taken me in a different direction but with my faith
support from family friends both here and far away..
many of you I have or will never meet, I will stay strong rising
on the wings of HOPE for a complete recovery!

I am deeply grateful to everyone!
Once again I feel an overwhelming feeling of gratitude to
each and every one of you caring cyber angels.

Reflections of Russet and Gold

The valley below.. 14th hole of the

Glenn Abbey golf course..home of the Canadian Open.

Reflections of orange and gold in the pond

a 16 mile creek runs along the course. I am on

a bridge surrounded by the burnished colors all

changing to a russet hue, each leaf soon to lose hold

of weathered branches. Although the blue of the sky

is hiding there is still an abundance of seasonal brilliance!
