A Summer Tour

When summer warmth bathed our gardens a few
weeks ago I attended a garden tour. Although summer has
now passed into autumn, as promised in a previous post it's
time to share past summer expressions!

Pretty in pink my eyes rest on these charming anemones

A time for perennials to really shine providing this garden
full of sunny blooms!

An angel casts her spell creating a feeling of
exquisite elegance to this water feature

One can make anything even a storage shed into
an architectural feature reflecting
your own creative personality!

notice the leaded stained glass windows and trellis on door!

I continue to focus on life's blessings as I recover from
3 chemo treatments. I have 3 more rounds to complete
I rest when necessary always fully engaged
in the Joys that surround me!
With temperatures dropping it is now time to walk with Autumn.

Brilliant Blue Skies

I am not saddened by a summer that has passed
when experiencing such brilliant blue skies!
I feel autumn among fields of corn under the bluest sky!
Travel among the autumn trails and be dazzled by
the beauty and the wonderful world that surrounds you!

Sweet Reminders

"Only the heart knows how to find what is precious"
Fyodor Dostoyevsky

sweet reminders of a summer that has passed

~white hosta blossom~

I am resting and gathering strength for
round #3 of chemotherapy on Tues.
For this reason I have not yet had the energy to post
photos of the garden tour that I previously promised .
Be patient my friends I will as soon as I'm able.
Sitting at the computer for too long has a negative impact on
my energy level. Recovery demands rest.
Thank you for your support and understanding.

Harvest Time

We decided to pick raspberries a few weeks ago.
On route I stopped and took photos for sky watch
All of summer they swiftly grew; brilliant jewels
and lovingly we ate them..
made freezer jam and froze many

"The heritage of the past is the seed that brings forth
the harvest of the future"

"The time has come to harvest all
The fields of golden grain
God's bounty overflowing from every fertile plain."
