Reflections of Russet and Gold

The valley below.. 14th hole of the
Glenn Abbey golf course..home of the Canadian Open.
Reflections of orange and gold in the pond
a 16 mile creek runs along the course. I am on
a bridge surrounded by the burnished colors all
changing to a russet hue, each leaf soon to lose hold
of weathered branches. Although the blue of the sky
is hiding there is still an abundance of seasonal brilliance!
"This is a day of reflections
Reflections of a summer past
A look to the distant hillsides
and down through the valleys vast"

"Brings panoramas of beauty
The trees tinged with rust and gold"

" Spell Autumn in big bold letters
How much of splendor they hold!"
Poem: A Day Of Reflections by Georgia B. Adams

Magnificent shots, lovely words.

This is my first Autumn back on the east coast after being in California for 16 years.
This Autumn has been so spectacular, I feel as if it's a personal 'welcome home!'

Best to you in your treatment. I'm pretty sure your positive outlook will conquer ;)

Beautiful colours. Our trees have almost lost their leaves by now. We are now getting waves of wind and rain off the Pacific. I guess that's the trade off. I invite you to come see my clearing skies. - Margy

Breathtaking. I hate the winter but our Fall season makes up (well almost) for the months of dreariness. It's this kind of beauty that reminds me how blessed I am to live in such an abundant country. Hugs, TWT
