Stressed

STRESS the predominant word
used today when we feel overburdened
STRESS is a psychological indicator that
we are having difficulty achieving balance in day-to-day living
STRESS a contributor to my diagnosis of having SHINGLES

Along with prescribed medication
I surround myself with lavender to help calm raw nerves
and promote restful sleep...
Paisley always at my side

My garden
a place of calm deep breathes and relaxation as I recover
~

your body speaks to you in whispers
if you don't listen it will eventually start to scream

Earth Angel

Dancing with Butterflies

she soars and she dances
and as I held her ~happiness sings~

he held out his hand and said
~ shall we dance..~

~dance to the rhythm in your heart
that tickle your soul~

the miracle of the butterfly..
a gift from above

After leaving the vineyards we decided to visit
~the Butterfly Conservatory~
located near Niagara Falls Canada
to dance with the butterflys!
~
~It's just another ordinary miracle day today!~

we spend our day sipping wine at a nearby vineyard
the past and present urge us on...

more dreams and wishes to come true

Harvest time is the season to visit Ontario's
gold metal wineries on the Niagara Peninsula..
celebrating our anniversary we decided to have lunch and
sample some of the best reds and whites ..

~the Niagara region's unique climatic conditions are
ideal for producing ~ice wine~ the most unique
wine in the world!~
~
Thanking all that took time to send anniversary wishes
we greatly appreciated each and every one!
~
P.S. we also danced with butterflies as you saw in
1st photo!

Two Hearts

Two Weddings and a Funeral

In the past few weekends I have attended
2 memorable weddings
and a funeral

The weddings took place outdoors each with Natures beauty
all around us!
In Ohio along the Sandusky River vows were exchanged
with a view
of a beautiful waterfall!
~
The second wedding held outdoors location a golf course with
white roses and white orchids
filling the air with their sweet perfume
as the bride and groom said I do!
~
~Life is filled with new beginnings!~

My weekend was also filled with excitement in meeting
Ms. Pea!

The funeral I attended was in the town where a
caring gentle spirited blogging friend lives!
I had the pleasure of meeting Pea and walking about her
enchanted faerie garden with secret doors
with many birds and squirrels and chippers
running about!
We shared laughter and stories and hugs and feel extremely
blessed that we met by blogging and how nice it was that we
are able to meet face to face!
Pea offered her celebrity butter tarts to taste and of course I
said YES and she also gave me
an autumn candle and butterfly plates!

Journey's End

Life is a journey
for many "baby boomers" our journey today is facing
the reality of aging parents..
each day we cherish the gift of having them here
to smile with
~
Two weeks ago I travelled this road to visit my friend
in northern Ontario...
we celebrated the joys of our friendship and our love
of gardening..
I shared with you her blue tipped shoes here

My journey today will take me here..

returning on that same travelled road
to share with my friend her season of grief..
her aging father-in-law has reached his final destination
on this journey of life.
He has been lifted from earth and looks down from the stars
~Peace be to you dearest father grandfather and friend ~
~

The Essence of a Rose

The beauty innocence and its sheer delicacy
takes my breath away!
